Our Preparatory Courses can increase applicants' admission opportunity to their chosen program

McDaniel College - College International offers two Pre-Application Preparatory Courses in Budapest (a one-semester intensive Course and a two-semester Course), preparing students for admission into the International Degree Programs offered at various Hungarian universities. The Preparatory Courses are suitable for students interested in pursuing their studies in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Veterinary Science, Psychology, and Physiotherapy.

The curriculum of both the intensive and the regular Preparatory Courses is focused on preparing students for the entrance examination into the program of their choice, as well as on introducing students to the Hungarian culture and university life. The excellence of the instructors, the close ties between McDaniel College - College International and the Universities, and the continuous monitoring of the curriculum by the Professors of the Universities all contribute to the 95% admission rate of students into their chosen field of study following completion of either Preparatory Course.

These Courses are most appropriate for students who require additional instruction in, or a review of, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General English, or English for a specific purpose (e.g., Medicine, Physiotherapy, Psychology, etc.). Other subjects are also covered in the Preparatory Courses for Psychology and Physiotherapy.

Preparatory Courses are offered every year, with the regular two-semester program starting in October, and the intensive one-semester course starting in January.

The Preparatory Courses are offered in a historical building in central Budapest that houses several other schools and programs. The sizable international student population at this location provides for a rich social life outside the classroom, complemented by the wide variety of unique cultural events in Budapest. The building is easily accessible by public transportation, and with the proximity of Ferihegy International Airport, and the availability of low-cost airlines, students also have the opportunity to go on affordable weekend getaways most anywhere in Europe.
