The
3-year International Degree Program in Psychology at the Eötvös
Loránd University’s Faculty of Education and Psychology
leads to the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree. The subsequent 2-year
International Graduate Degree Program in Psychology leads to the Master
of Arts in Psychology degree. The Faculty of Education and Psychology
is accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Board.
The Institute of Psychology is located in central Budapest, Hungary’s capital, a lively metropolis in the middle of Europe. The University was founded in 1635, and it launched its English program in Psychology in 1996.
The Institute enrols 90 students each year in its English language program.

Exemption from Taking
the Entrance Examination and Transfer Credits
The Institute of Psychology may accept transfer students from other universities
for both its undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Decisions are
made on a case-by-case basis, and are pendant on the student providing
official transcripts and course descriptions equivalent to the requirements
of the Institute of Psychology at Eötvös Loránd University.
The University will allow students to retake the entrance examination if their first attempt was not successful earlier in the year.
Living in Budapest
Students can expect to spend anywhere from US$ 8,000 to 15,000 per year
on their living expenses, depending on their living standards. Additional
costs include textbooks (US$ 500-1000 per year) and insurance (US$ 280
per year).
